Hot Weather

It's been kinda hot all over. It gets pretty hot in MN during the summer. I ran at 9:30 pm on Saturday. It was 93 degrees then. I woke up early the next morning at 7 when it was "only" 80 degrees out. I was pretty tired at the end because I did a 10 mile and a 7 mile in the span of like 9 hours. I have AC in my apartment and it's pretty nice in here fortunately. And the bus to work has AC. And the office has AC. So it's not shitty for me all the time.

My 21st birthday

Yesterday was my 21st birthday. I did not spend it like many other people have when turning 21. I worked 9 hours at the office, then went home and changed, then I went and lifted at the gym (scheduled day off from running). Then I came back, made dinner, then went to the grocery store, came back, unloaded the groceries, and went to bed at 10:45 pm so I could get into the office earlier than usual today. I did not crash my bike twice or sing Karaoke like Mark. The other interns in the office offered to take me to happy hour after work, but I had to decline so I'd have time to lift and go to the grocery store and get to bed early. Is this what life is like after college?

anyone in SD?

i'm in SD from now til mid day on the 19th and am seriously down for runs, shack, pipes, bcb, bj's, golden dank, roberto's, b&b, beach action (i heard the snack dank at the beach hiked up their prices on ice cream...pretty o.o.h.), sunny's, etc. i don't think anyone's in town but i'm trying to find out anyway.

Something is wrong....

I don't know if you guys remember, I know Mark does, a fellow by the name of cRaZy Matt Johnson. I was thinking about him tonight, and decided to look up what he did, if he went to run college or whatever. I couldn't find any results. I couldn't even find his high school stuff on google. That made me very sad. People like him and Alan Aradanas and other great greats of our day will soon be forgotten.
Anyways, I heard some rumor about AJ going for a sub-4 mile or something like that? Does anyone know what happened?
I got into an argument tonight with a guy in my program who runs...he was going off about how Pre was like the greatest runner ever. He told me that running a tactical race isn't running, but you should just go run balls out or something like that. It was pretty fun...you guys (+affiliated running girls) would have liked it.
